This golden caramel hand smocked dress is, quite simply, one of the most beautiful things we have ever made. Cut from 100% pure cotton and fully lined for the softest, most comfortable wear, it is a masterclass in the art of heirloom dressmaking. Every single pleat of that wide, structured smocking panel has been gathered and stitched entirely by hand. The cream diamond lattice smocking is framed above and below by a deep crimson red satin trim — a stroke of contrast so elegant it takes this dress from beautiful to breathtaking.

Below the lattice, a trailing row of hand-embroidered red roses winds its way across the smocked band — each tiny bloom stitched one petal at a time, by hand. The white Peter Pan collar is edged in the same signature crimson red piping, and adorned with its own delicate clusters of hand-embroidered roses at the centre and sides. White cuffed sleeves carry a tiny embroidered rose detail too — every inch of this dress has been considered, loved, and finished with care.
